CHRISTIAN MARRIAGE IS

Marriage is what you make it to be,
Optimal or demeaned.
But by the time you learn,
It could be too late.

Marriage is balance
Of opposite-sex dominance,
Opposite-sex biology, cooperation, not simply Love,
Not simply friendship:
Cooperation, eager role playing,
Out of complementarity,
Biologically decided.

For simple love (desire) comes and goes,
Since we can desire differently - divorce.
And any engendered children happen to
Solidify that love that would have come and gone.
Sex unites, abortions separate.
Love and Sin are written in our hearts.

Created Pain, for us to relatively sense
How blessed we are, if blessed;
Or to quickly remove the hand from the fire.
From birth we learn to follow law of sorts.
It is a choice, prone to built-in penalty:
Balance so we do not crawl as a snake;
Or smell the ground, like a dog.
Pain, so we don't do it again;
For now we cannot pass through walls. We collide!
We are spirit,... but now we are also Physics.

 'They' say, opposites attract.
It is old fact that opposites in sex attract.
Which can lead to incest and rape
And desires unmentionable
Over the Dinner table.
And in some way, we all attract,
Like the stars and planets. So what?
There has to be more to Attraction.

Fortunately, there is:
Godly marriage is fecund unity.
1+1 greater than 2, in a sense.
Wow! Marriage builds upon itself.
Two is much better than two separately.
Imagine what little you can do with one hand.

Proper marriage is greater power
Than the sum of mere addition,
Hopefully not learned by trial and error,
But somehow learned; for we all can learn it.
It's not Nuclear Science.
Just humble yourself,
Even with the wrong mate.

Marriage power and energy, greatest in nature,
Built the Atom Bomb.
Did it? "How?" you ask...
By engendering new life:
Engendering, unknowingly a scientist,
A curious French girl, playing with a centrifuge,
And very Heavy Metal.
Soon dead of Cancer, by mere curiosity of the unknown;
Yet not the so-named constellation,
Outside our Planet and away;
While the constellation seemed still,
Unmovable - an absolute.

Driven by the same atomic force;
Force that built gravitation;
Little, and so immense collisions
When God 'said' without a tongue:
"Let there be Light!"
And so it goes, we have eyes.

Marriage would create a mortal self,
Protein plus a God-given spirit.
What immortal effect!
Our creative potency,
Eternally reaching.

Only marriage can,
Without becoming Four.
But can it sustain that new Life?
Can it love its new life?;
or will government be forced to Love? -
A non-secular sort of thing - not ideal.
True marriage can love, and very well indeed,
Through stability, through complementarity.
It is more-powerful love.

True marriage is God-given:
The Mate found, could be, through
Unfeeling copper internet,
Not what is searched for, but even better
Than we could imagine.
Because God knows each heart
Without a database.
How indeed? Because we don't know
We believe it impossible.

Your idea of a perfect match
Would be boring, too perfect.
Humans are imperfect -
(Never a dull moment),
And some are very, very imperfect;
So go the soap operas:
Crises after crises, on top of yet another crisis,
Never-ending drama - painful,
Only 'good' for entertaining,
And to sell soap.

But through Love, strengthened
By complementarity and compassion,
Not mere unselfishness,
We easily get back on the proper path.
No more to be wandering about;
Not 'content with too little'.

Rather, the God-given balance is there,
Waiting to be recognized,
In imperfect beings, more and more,
Waiting to be enjoyed, more and more.
For God is not 'in' Time.
God created Time, and the rest,
Plus Einstein too, and him
Through marriage.
God created, or we would all be mad.
God has no clock nor face, nor tongue, nor eyes.
What for? silly, anthropomorphic child.

'Until Death do us part.' is the English vow;
But that's not the End.
It is just Beginning.

We will know aborted souls,
As we go back to our being Spirits,
For time will be no more.
There will be no Future. . .
How strangely strange!
For us to contemplate.
No more going 'round and 'round and 'round;
Finally! - Unable to collide - Genderless again.
And in that other nature, without physical force,
The creation of hosts complete.
We won't need marriage.
What for?

Allegedly, when activities (e.g., homosexual type of copulation) involve "consenting" individuals and do not involve outright violence, to denounce those activities a sin is to violate the culture's "absolute" and "invariant" laws of tolerance and inclusion.

Allegedly, scholarly interpretations of the Greek text in the Bible, related to homosexual behavior, shows that such a behavior was not prohibited for "natural" homosexuals of the time, so the Bible does not really object to homosexual copulation.

Allegedly, Christian support for same-sex civil marriage in the country of Canada, has led to no negative effects for Christian churches, there. --- under construction ---
Allegedly, civil or solely religious marriages officiated by a staff member of a Christian church will have no effect on how Sunday School is taught. --- under construction ---
Allegedly, since major Christian denominations now officiate same-sex marriages in their sanctuaries, the Bible must therefore have objected to homosexual prostitution, but not the homosexual type of copulation between two men married to each other in an official monogamous, long-lasting relationship. Allegedly, some "homosexual prostitutes" were even part of one early Christian church visited by the Apostle Paul.
Allegedly, homosexual couples can be married by the Christian church because: "They are born that way", a scientific statement.
